Indicators

MT4 indicators are technical indicators designed for use on the MetaTrader platform using the MQL4 programming language. As they are used primarily for analysis of short-term price movements, they are the most popular choice for active forex traders. They are also a good tool for long-term investors looking to identify appropriate entry and exit points in the forex market. MetaTrader indicators seek to predict future price levels and/or price trends by looking at past patterns.

Our MetaTrader indicators can be used for manual trading and for forex trading strategies. They can be inputted into a custom MetaTrader expert advisor. They are available for the following MT4 categories: general purpose, divergence with hidden divergence, multi-timeframes, and statistical. You can choose a free forex indicator on our free downloads page. They are sold with a source code file (mq4 -file), which allows you to change codes as needed before the indicators are used on your platform. We can add extra alerts as well. These alerts include a pop-up alert, an e-mail alert, and a sound one.

How to choose the right MT4 indicator

Like all oscillators, divergence and hidden divergence oscillators show the highest accuracy in a flat forex market. For that reason, many forex traders consider them the best oscillators. Consequently, it makes more sense to use them together with indicators to determine the trend of the forex market – for example, with multi-timeframes. If you prefer forex scalping, we recommend Bollinger Bands Divergence with HeikenAshi MultiTF and/or OBV Divergence with Trend-MultiTF.

For either intraday or long-term forex strategies, we recommend MACD Divergence, Stochastic Divergence, and PowerRVI divergence. You can also use the MT4 Alt-Pitchfork indicator for forex scalping and intraday forex strategies.

To determine and interpret entry signals correctly, we recommend that you use a number of divergence indicators and combine them with forex market trends.
