Indicator Awesome Oscillator Divergence indicates fractal divergence by Awesome Oscillator indicator. When divergence appears between Awesome Oscillator and the price, it indicates a high probability that the current trend will finish soon. A signal to buy is when a new Low-fractal is formed below the previous one and a corresponding Awesome Oscillator value is higher than the previous one. A signal to sell is when a new Up-fractal is formed above the previous one and a corresponding AO Oscillator value is lower than the previous value. The indicator has a lot of customizable settings.

The Awesome Oscillator is a histogram showing the market momentum of a recent number of periods compared to the momentum of a larger number of previous periods (by default, 5 vs. 34 periods).

This indicator is intended to show what's happening to the market for the current period (compared to the momentum of a longer period), and some traders use its signals for buying and selling decisions.
